We've kept you waiting long enough, but here it is! The full set from Fans of Luke, recorded live with no audience at Hoppily HQ in Leigh-on-Sea.
With three loop pedal fuelled, instrumental jazz/rock bangers Fans of Luke have proved themselves as one to watch in the future, especially considering this is their first ever gig!
When asked about their style, they struggled even to name a genre. "We pull influence from all over, the songs are basically just us jamming together so it's hard to pin it down as one thing."
Personally, we hear influences from groups like BADBADNOTGOD and Menahan street Band, with even a splash of Pink Floyd in there once that guitar starts to go. It's hardly a surprise to hear that members of Fans of Luke also moonlight in a punk band. Decide for yourself by watching below:
We can't wait to get more bands into Hoppily whether it be more Hop Sessions like this one, or full on gigs with a live audience. Keep your eyes peeled on our social media for upcoming announcements.
